The charming little port of Costa Blanca is just 2 miles north of Alicante, set between the city and the San Juan beach in Albufereta. It is surrounded by urban development which makes the harbour wall difficult to pick out from the sea, although the approach is not difficult, since Cabo Huertas and the city of Alicante itself serve as clear landmarks. The port has much to recommend it and offers 230 berths, but only for boats up to 9m in length.

It is hampered by a serious lack of depth, with 1.5 metres of water at the entrance and along the outer wall but dropping to less than a metre inside. It has a pleasant and friendly clubhouse and offers good services, with Over 1,000 m2 of hardstanding. However, it is advisable to phone ahead, since the larger berths are often all occupied.
